I am not much the type for perfumes.

I like more sutile, light products.

This is why I got into body mists. Its a lottle bit like using a perfume but not so intense.

This is basically because a body mist or splash contains a lot more of water. That makes it so refreshing, its a little bit like a summer rain in a garden full of flowers. And it refreshes.

You feel light and refreshed without having a cloud of fragrance around you.

Give it a try.

Especially now, in summertime its the best to have.

Use your favourite essential oils and enjoy.

Note: Some essential oils react with the sun, do not use them to do the body mist.

The following essential oils are photosensitive.

Bergamot essential oil,  orange essential oil,  lime and grapefruit essential oils.

After all, you know when you will ise them and not apply them before going to the sun.

The first basic recipe goes like this:

Ingredients

  • 10 tablespoons of alcohol;
  • ½ tablespoon of essential oil(s);
  • 4 tablespoons of distilled water;
  • ½ tablespoon of vegetable glycerin.
  • Glass Spray bottle

For alcohol vodka is the most neutral but you can use others too. Witch hazel is a great toner too and very good to use in your body mist.

Directions

Mix vodka or witch hazel and the essential oils.

In a different container mix the water with the vegetable glycerine.

Mix both together.

Shake smoothly for about one minute.

Let sit for a moment.
