Your scent can really set the tone for your day. A few spritzes of your favourite perfume can instantly transform your mood. With the days getting warmer, traditional perfume can feel a little heavy and overpowering. Especially during the day. Making your own refreshing body mist using essential oils is an easy way to smell amazing, boost your mood and is also extremely inexpensive. This gives you the luxury of having a different scent for each day of the week!
Body mist is much lighter than perfume as it contains more water and less alcohol. If you prefer not to use alcohol in the recipes, use witch hazel water instead.

Choosing your Fragrance
Scent is a very personal thing. When deciding which essential oils to add to your body mist, try imagining how you want to feel when you wear it.
Are you looking for an energising scent, something more calming or perhaps romantic? There is an essential oil to suit every occasion. And even better, you can create your own signature blend using whichever combination of oils you enjoy most. We recommend limiting yourself to 3 oils per scent for best result.
It is important to note that some essential oils react with the sun and therefor not recommend to use in your body mist. Bergamot essential oil, Orange essential oil, lime and grapefruit essential oils are photosensitive and best avoided for this recipe.
