Night toners are used to improve the appearance of your skin, mainly in the face. It is applied on the face after washing and cleaning make up and dirt before applying moisturizer on the skin.

Homemade toners may contain alcohol, filtered water, aplle cider vinagre or witch hazel. Especially the last two are higly beneficial for the skin. The astringent compounds of the recipes as apple cider vinegar or witch hazel improve acne and tighten the skin and remove dead cells which increses then the regeneration of the skin. Depending which essential oils you mix into your toner it can reduce the size of your pores, fight acne and other skin irritations by desinfecting and being antifungal and antibacterial and balance the ph of your skin.

The shared recipe below is very simple, you may add to it different oils or mix with a part of filtered water to make it less strong or add some drops of vitamin e or liquid glycerine to make it more smooth, depending on your skin condition.

Recipe for Homemade Night Toner

• 10 drops of jasmine essential oil.
• 5 drops of geranium essential oil
• 5 drops of rosemary essential oil
• 5 drops of lavender essential oil
• 1 cup of witch hazel

Directions

1. In a small bowl add all the essential oils with the witch hazel.
2. Stir it well.
3. Pour it in the small dark coloured glass bottle.
4. Cleanse your face and then apply and massage it on your face lightly.

Note: store in a dark and cool place. Keep away from children.
