Background 

White Camphor Essential oil is produced using crude camphor steam distilled to give resultant extracts namely white camphor, yellow camphor, brown camphor, and blue camphor, out of which white camphor is used for medicinal and aromatic purposes. Brown and yellow camphor have toxic substance safrole in them and should not be used.

Crude camphor is extracted from Cinnamomum camphora (Camphor tree’s wood) found natively in the forests of Taiwan and Japan. Camphor has medicinal properties and was used to treat cold, cough, vomiting, and diarrhea. It is also known to be a very good muscle relaxant, relieving muscle aches and pains, hence used in one of our must-have first aid blends called deep blue muscle relief.

Uses

Aids Digestion: It contains natural cooling properties and simply massaging the diluted essential oil on the frontal core, can soothe internal irritation, eliminate gas, and improve digestion.

Room freshener: With its cool and mild fragrance, Camphor oil also acts as a room freshener and perfect to use in aromatherapy.

Medicinal uses: Camphor oil is also used as a vapor rub to fight against cold and flu, like an inhaler to act as a facilitating agent in case of respiratory problems, boosts internal strength and immunity.

Local anesthetic: Camphor oil also acts as a local anesthetic with its properties to numb areas of bodies going through pain therefore ideal to used for muscle aches and cramps.

Directions

Aromatherapy and decongestion:: Simply adding 2-3 drops of Camphor Oil to a diffuser can effectively tackle congestion. To intensify the effectiveness, Ravensera, Eucalyptus, and Chamomile oils can also be added.

Baths: Adding 2-3 drops of oil to a bathtub filled with warm water can give a rejuvenating bathing experience with its invigorating essence. Sandalwood and Eucalyptus can be added for making new enhanced blends.

Tackling airborne bacteria: To clean indoor environment from pollutants and bacteria, Camphor and Pine oils can be added in a dark glass bottle and diffused to give a fresh experience.
