Uses
Skincare: Roman Chamomile essential oil is a natural toner well-suited for oily and combination skin types. It clears the skin of sebum buildup that clogs pores and causes breakouts. Its astringent and anti-inflammatory ability soothes inflamed and irritable skin conditions, such as boils, rashes, swelling, and pimples. Regular use of this oil evens the skin tone and is very helpful for relieving dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.
Haircare: Roman Chamomile oil nourishes the scalp with its rich vitamin and nutrients content. It heals damaged hair over time and protects the hair strands against further environmental damage. When used with shampoos, this oil is not only effective at deep cleansing but also replenishes some of the lost moisture.
Aromatherapy: The sweet floral scent of Roman Chamomile is profoundly relaxing for the central nervous system. Inhaling this essential oil during bedtime promotes restful sleep and supports a healthy immune function. Its aromatic compounds provide a sense of composure and help manage restlessness, hyperactivity, and negative emotions.
Medicinal uses: The cooling property of Roman Chamomile essential oil promotes faster recovery from fever and infections. Inhaling the volatile compounds of this therapeutic oil is known to relieve allergies, respiratory congestions, and headaches.
PMS symptoms: Roman Chamomile is a known antispasmodic. Massaging the oil in the lower abdomen reduces uterine contractions and relaxes the muscles, thus helping in painful menstruation and irregular flow. It also alleviates other PMS symptoms, such as mood swings, irritability, bloating, lack of motivation, etc.
