Modern Skincare
Ecodrop skincare brings together carefully selected botanical oils and extracts with proven cosmetic ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamin C, bakuchiol and azelaic acid.
Our formulations were developed by Rosa, drawing on her background in natural formulation and years of working with botanical ingredients. They are professionally made in a UK laboratory, combining her knowledge of plant-based skincare with modern cosmetic science.
Many of these formulations have been part of our range for years and have become firm favourites with our customers. Our approach to natural skincare is simple: thoughtful, effective formulas made in the UK, with each product designed for a clear purpose and an uncomplicated daily skincare routine.

Where it's made
Made in the UK
Our skincare collection is made in the UK, allowing us to keep the range close to home while focusing on carefully considered formulas and ingredients.
For us, good skincare is not about filling a bathroom shelf with products. It is about choosing a few well-made products that have a clear reason for being there.
What surrounds the formula matters too. Across the range we use compact, recyclable or reusable packaging and materials such as bamboo where appropriate, with an emphasis on reducing unnecessary packaging.
Simple Skincare, Made Easier
Good skincare does not need to be complicated. This free guide covers simple natural skincare routines, the essentials of choosing between an organic face cream and a face serum, and what ingredients like hyaluronic acid, bakuchiol and azelaic acid actually do for your skin, so you can build an uncomplicated routine that works.
Start with the Calendula Botanical Cleansing Balm to lift make-up, SPF and everyday build-up, then rinse or remove with a warm, damp cloth.
Apply a serum to freshly cleansed skin: Bakuchiol, Rose Youth Elixir or Azelaic Acid with Hyaluronic Acid, depending on what your skin needs.
Follow with an organic face cream to support hydration and comfort, and lock in the serum underneath.
Finish with a suitable broad-spectrum SPF during the day. The products you choose within each step depend on your skin type and the concerns your routine should address.

Frequently Asked Questions About Natural and Organic Skincare
Anything not covered here, our team answers personally.

What does Ecodrop's skincare range include?
Ecodrop's skincare range includes three organic face creams (Organic Face Cream, Organic Anti-Ageing Cream and Organic Eczema Cream), three face serums (Bakuchiol Serum, Rose Youth Elixir Serum with Matrixyl 3000, and Azelaic Acid Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid) and one cleansing product, the Calendula Botanical Cleansing Balm. All are made in the UK.
What is natural skincare?
Natural skincare generally refers to products formulated predominantly with ingredients derived from natural sources such as plant oils, botanical extracts, butters and naturally derived ingredients. There is no single universal definition of natural skincare, so it is worth looking beyond the front label and checking the actual ingredients and formulation.
What is organic skincare?
Organic skincare contains ingredients produced according to organic farming standards. A product described as organic is different from a product that simply contains one or two organic ingredients, which is why ingredient transparency matters.
Is all Ecodrop skincare organic?
No, and it is better to be clear about that. Our face cream range includes our organic skincare products. The wider Ecodrop skincare collection also includes specialist facial serums and our Calendula Botanical Cleansing Balm. These belong within our natural and botanical skincare range, but we do not need to describe every product as organic simply because some of the collection is.
What is the difference between natural and organic skincare?
They are related, but they are not the same thing. Natural generally describes where ingredients come from. Organic relates to how qualifying agricultural ingredients have been grown and processed according to organic standards. A natural skincare product is therefore not automatically organic, and an organic skincare formula may still require functional ingredients such as emulsifiers and preservatives to remain stable and safe to use.
Is Ecodrop skincare made in the UK?
Yes. Our face skincare range is made in the UK, including our face creams, serums and Calendula Botanical Cleansing Balm, which also allows us to keep the range close to home and focused on carefully considered formulas.
What order should I apply skincare products?
As a general guide: cleanse first, apply your serum, follow with face cream or moisturiser, then apply sunscreen as the final skincare step in your morning routine. If you use several specialist active products, introduce them gradually rather than adding everything at once.
Is Ecodrop skincare vegan?
The current Ecodrop serum and cleansing balm product pages identify these products as vegan, and the skincare range is developed around plant-based and botanical ingredients. Check the individual product page when choosing a specific product, since it is always better to make claims at product level rather than assume every product has exactly the same formulation.
Is Ecodrop skincare cruelty-free?
The current Ecodrop serum pages identify the range as cruelty-free. When shopping for cruelty-free skincare, it is worth looking at the actual brand policy rather than assuming that natural or vegan automatically means cruelty-free.
Is Ecodrop packaging eco‑friendly?
We aim to keep our skincare packaging thoughtful and relatively low-waste, using recyclable and reusable materials and bamboo components where appropriate. Our approach is to reduce unnecessary packaging rather than suggest that any packaging has no environmental impact.
Can sensitive skin use natural skincare?
Potentially, but natural does not automatically mean non-irritating. Botanical extracts and essential oils can still cause reactions in some people. Anyone with sensitive skin should introduce new products gradually, read the ingredient list and patch test when appropriate.
Do I still need SPF when using natural skincare?
Yes. Natural or organic skincare does not replace sunscreen. A broad-spectrum SPF should remain the final skincare step during the day when sun protection is required.
