Beauty Benefits of Myrrh
Ancient Egyptians used myrrh oil as an anti-aging elixir, as well as for a number of other skin concerns. Science now proves they were on to something, as myrrh oil helps with visible signs of aging in several ways.
Myrrh is a potent antioxidant and has been shown to be even more powerful than vitamin E. Antioxidants fight off free radicals, which are a major cause of skin ageing.
This is why adding a natural antioxidant like myrrh essential oil to your skincare regime can help with anti-aging, skin rejuvenation, stretch marks and even eczema. These are key frankincense and myrrh benefits for skin that make them highly valued in natural beauty.

Beauty Benefits of Frankincense
Frankincense essential oil is often called the "King of Essential Oils" due to its wide-ranging therapeutic benefits. It’s a powerful anti-inflammatory, reducing redness and soothing skin irritation. The essential oil extract contains both restorative and regenerative properties.
It not only helps reverse sun damage caused by UV rays, but also rejuvenates skin, reduces scars, and evens out pigmentation. Frankincense has a toning and tightening effect, likely due to the astringent qualities of the resin — making it a staple in many anti-aging skincare recipes.
This powerful duo forms the base of this nourishing and rejuvenating frankincense & myrrh face cream recipe. Make it at home with just a few natural ingredients and enjoy visible skin benefits.
Make sure to use only the highest quality oils for best results.
