Great Product with a beautiful eco-friendly packaging.
I have been using this tincture for just a few days and I already feel the change in my mood and energy. Love the fact that they are dual extracted and all active components are present in the tincture. I am a medicinal mushroom user myself and I rarely find genuine log-grown organic mushrooms, so I am over the moon to have found this tincture. Also the tincture form makes it super easy to integrate it into your daily routine. I will definitely buy again!

Ideal if you don’t like the taste of mushrooms but want the benefits
Ive never tried Chaga mushroom before but read about its claimed benefits. Predominantly grown on Birch trees its often taken as a tea. This tincture is a very convenient way of taking it and mush less of a faff than making a tea. Its 25% alcohol and has no noticeable mushroom taste, the taste is predominantly the alcohol with a very slight bitter aftertaste, that doesn’t linger, so ideal if your not a fan of mushrooms but would like to get some of the benefits they could bring.
No noticeable side effects or benefits so far but its early days, like most supplements if difficult to determine if they do anything or if any benefit is a placebo or down do other things like diet, sleep etc. Chaga is supposed to be a great immune booster so hopefully will help with all the winter bugs doing the rounds, and has been used as an immune booster for centuries and does have lab proven results against certain diseases. At a fraction under £20 for 30ml its not the cheapest if you take the max 2ml a day its 2 weeks worth. The 50ml bottle is better value for money over the 30ml.

Easy To Take
So far (over about a week) I’ve added this Organic Chaga Mushroom Extract Liquid to my morning porridge, mid morning coffee and once onto a fruit salad (risky but actually quite pleasant). Overall I have to say the flavour of the porridge and the coffee was barely affected. Maybe just a very slight additional bitterness, but I probably only noticed that because I was “watching out” for it. On the fruit salad it was more apparent but I actually liked it. As for noticing any beneficial effect from the mushroom extract…. that’s less easy to quantify. I certainly haven’t had any unwanted side effects and overall I’ve been feeling pretty good the last few days. But I can’t in all honesty pinpoint this as the reason one way or other. My advice would be to try it and see if it works for you.

Boosted Energy Over the Course of the Day – Happy With That!
Wasn’t really sure about the use of this, but I have found it beneficial to a degree. I keep long and odd hours due to the nature of my work, and it can be quite stressful at times so something that relieved stress and gave additional endurance would be more than welcome.
I followed the instructions quite rigorously over the last 3 weeks, sticking to a morning routine and adding it to my tea or in some cases fresh orange juice. The benefit of the tincture for me was feeling somewhat less tired or at least able to get to the end of a day with some energy left to do some small tasks before bed. I don’t think it has improved my mood, but I was a little more relaxed, I’m generally positive anyway so perhaps that is not to be expected. As for the taste, well it does leave a slightly fungal / mushroom aftertaste in whatever you add it to, much more noticeable in orange juice than tea, but after a few days I hardly noticed it. The promise of additional benefits such as acting as a detox and beneficial immune support agent abound, but I wouldn’t be able to comment in such a short duration of use.
At nearly £20 for a small bottle it seems quite expensive, but if the promises are to be believed – and there is evidence supporting some claims, then what price a healthy internal system? This is obviously a very high quality extract and as stated I’ve found one benefit of using it – the others may come with time. I will certainly order another batch to see if the positive energy effect is maintained over time.

Good strength superfood
Good quality, plastic free, high strength mushroom extract. I’ve been taking this and lions mane for some months now and hope to reap the rewards they offer.

I’m sceptical whether it helps.
Whether this works as a stress reliever or aid for anxiety is hard to tell, I’ve not noticed any positive affects. It has a slight umami odour which I expected and doesn’t taste too good as it is. Put the required dose into a food though and you cannot tell. If you enjoy a hot bovril you could put the dose in this drink.
With this type of supplement it usually takes a month or two to notice any positive changes. I guess it’s worth trying as it’s, actually pretty versatile how you can take it. Once it’s gone though I wouldn’t buy, I’d prefer something that begins to have an affect within 3-4 weeks.

I bought this a few weeks ago, i have drank chaga tea i made from raw material but much prefer this way. Flavour is fine when added to a drink. I love the fact these are organic so i know theres no hidden nasties getting in. I do feel a tad more balanced and a better sense of well being. These kind of products are more preventative and help stop you feeling unwell in the first place. Medicinal mushrooms really are a great addition to your diet. Tempted to try the rishi next 🙂
