Honestly made
Honestly Made
We think people should know what they are bringing into their homes.
Our home fragrance range is vegan, and our fragrance blends are created using natural isolates and carefully selected aromatic materials.
Natural isolates are individual fragrance materials obtained from naturally derived sources. They let us work with particular parts of a botanical aroma and build more complete fragrances, while keeping our approach closely connected to natural materials.
We do not cover our products in vague claims or pretend fragrance needs to be complicated. We choose ingredients carefully, make fragrances we genuinely enjoy and tell you clearly what is inside.
Nothing here is tested on animals, and nothing contains animal-derived ingredients.

Why Ecodrop
Why Choose Ecodrop?
Ecodrop started with essential oils and aromatic ingredients, so scent has always been a big part of what we do. Our home fragrance collection grew naturally from that experience.
We wanted to create reed diffusers and scented candles that smell considered rather than overpowering, with enough choice for different rooms, seasons and moods.
All of our home fragrance products are vegan. Our reed diffusers are available in both 100ml and 250ml sizes, and diffuser refills let you reuse the original glass bottle. Our candles use a natural soy wax blend, cotton wicks and reusable amber glass jars.
Most importantly, we make fragrances that we would actually want to use in our own homes.

Is the wax natural?
Yes, a natural soy wax blend, chosen for a cleaner, slower burn than paraffin.
Are Ecodrop candles vegan?
Yes, vegan and cruelty-free, with no animal-derived ingredients.
Can I reuse the jar?
Yes, the amber glass jar is designed to be reused once the candle is finished.
What are aromatherapy candles?
Aromatherapy candles are scented candles designed to create a particular mood or atmosphere, often using essential oils or botanical-inspired fragrances. Popular aromatherapy candle scents include lavender, eucalyptus, citrus, rosemary, woods and florals.
What is the difference between scented candles and aromatherapy candles?
A scented candle is primarily designed to fragrance a room, while an aromatherapy candle is usually associated with essential oils or fragrance blends chosen to complement a particular mood or ritual, such as relaxing, unwinding or creating a more uplifting atmosphere.
Do aromatherapy candles actually work?
Scent can influence how a space feels and can form part of a relaxing or uplifting routine. Research into aromatherapy itself is mixed and depends on the essential oil and situation, so candles should be enjoyed for fragrance and atmosphere rather than treated as a medical treatment.
What are the best candle scents for relaxation?
Lavender, soft florals, sandalwood, frankincense, vanilla and gentle woody scents are popular choices when creating a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Ultimately, fragrance is personal, so the scent you find most comforting is usually the best choice for your home.
What are the best aromatherapy candle scents for sleep?
Lavender and chamomile are among the scents most commonly associated with evening relaxation, while sandalwood, vanilla and other soft woody fragrances can also help create a cosy bedtime atmosphere. Always extinguish candles before going to sleep.
Can candles help you relax?
The combination of fragrance, warm light and a quiet candle-burning ritual can help create a more relaxing environment. Many people use scented candles while reading, bathing, practising yoga or winding down in the evening.
Are aromatherapy candles good for anxiety?
A pleasant fragrance may help create a calmer environment, but an aromatherapy or scented candle should not be considered a treatment for anxiety. If you are experiencing persistent anxiety, appropriate medical or psychological support is more suitable.
Are aromatherapy candles safe?
Candles should always be used according to the manufacturer's safety instructions. Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, keep it away from draughts and flammable objects, keep the wick properly trimmed and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Are aromatherapy candles safe around pets?
Take additional care when burning scented or essential-oil candles around pets. Some essential oils and fragrance ingredients may be unsuitable for certain animals, particularly cats. Keep candles out of reach, ventilate the room and seek veterinary advice if you are unsure about a particular fragrance.
Are soy candles good for aromatherapy?
Soy wax is commonly used for scented and aromatherapy-style candles because it can provide a slow, even burn and works well with many fragrance compositions. Ecodrop candles use a soy wax blend with a cotton wick.
Are aromatherapy candles the same as essential oil candles?
Not necessarily. An essential oil candle specifically contains essential oils, whereas the term aromatherapy candle can be used more broadly for candles designed around a particular fragrance experience or mood. Always check the ingredients or product description if using essential oils is important to you.
Is an aromatherapy candle better than an essential oil diffuser?
They create different experiences. Candles combine fragrance with the warmth and atmosphere of a flame, while diffusers continuously release fragrance without needing to be lit. The better option depends on whether you prefer the ambience of a candle or continuous home fragrance.
How long should you burn a scented or aromatherapy candle?
Follow the burn-time instructions supplied with your candle. For many container candles, allowing the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn can help reduce tunnelling. Avoid excessively long burns and never leave a lit candle unattended.
Why does my scented candle give me a headache?
Some people are more sensitive to fragrance than others, particularly in small or poorly ventilated rooms. If a scent feels too strong, extinguish the candle, ventilate the room and try shorter burning periods or a lighter fragrance.
What candle scents are best for the bedroom?
Soft floral, woody and warm fragrances are popular bedroom choices. Lavender-style florals, sandalwood, vanilla, amber and gentle woody scents can create a softer atmosphere, while stronger citrus or herbal fragrances may feel more refreshing and energising.
What candle scents are best for the living room?
Living rooms can usually carry richer fragrances such as amber, woods, frankincense, vanilla, florals or citrus. Larger rooms can also accommodate stronger scent profiles than smaller bedrooms or bathrooms.
Can I use aromatherapy candles every day?
Scented candles can be enjoyed regularly when used safely and with appropriate ventilation. If you are sensitive to fragrance, use shorter burn periods and allow fresh air into the room between uses.
Are aromatherapy candles non-toxic?
“Non-toxic” is a very broad claim and does not have one simple definition for scented candles. A better approach is to look at the individual materials used, including the wax, wick and fragrance composition, rather than assuming a candle is non-toxic because of a particular marketing term.
