A melting calendula cleansing balm that lifts make-up and SPF without leaving skin tight.
Ecodrop's Calendula Botanical Cleansing Balm is a rich, water-free balm cleanser and make-up remover, made in the UK. Massaged onto dry skin it softens into a silky oil that dissolves foundation, mascara and sunscreen, then lifts away with a warm, damp cloth. It suits dry, normal and mature skin best, works as the first step of a double cleanse, and comes in a reusable bamboo and aluminium tin.
Key ingredients
- Calendula seed oil: a traditional skincare botanical that leaves dry skin feeling comforted.
- Mango and shea butters: give the balm its body and leave skin soft after cleansing.

- Sweet almond, jojoba and macadamia oils: conditioning oils that help skin feel supple.

Why you'll love it
Calendula, mango, moringa
A water-free balm, made to melt
Our calendula cleansing balm is made without water, from plant butters and seed oils. Mango and shea butter keep it firm in the tin, and the warmth of your skin turns it into a silky oil.
That oil is what does the cleaning. Oil dissolves oil, so it loosens foundation, mascara and SPF far more gently than a foaming face wash, with no need to scrub.
Calendula seed oil, moringa and baobab add a nourishing finish, while a little beeswax holds it all together. Rose geranium, rosemary and Roman chamomile give it a soft herbal scent.
Your evening routine
The first step of a double cleanse
Most evenings, a 5p-size scoop is all it takes. Massage it over dry skin for a minute, then sweep it away with a warm, wrung-out cloth.
If you wear long-wear make-up or SPF every day, follow with a gentle water-based cleanser. On lighter days the balm on its own is enough.
After a week or two of swapping from wipes or foaming washes, dry skin tends to feel less tight after cleansing, ready for your serum and moisturiser.
Texture and scent
From firm balm to silky oil
Straight from the tin, the balm is firm and golden. Within seconds of touching warm fingertips it softens, and on skin it turns into a light, slippery oil.
The scent is gentle and herbal, from rose geranium, rosemary and Roman chamomile, with no added perfume.
It is made for dry, normal and mature skin, and for anyone whose face feels tight after washing. For extra comfort, leave a thin layer on as a mask for a few minutes before removing.

Ordering from outside the UK? We're here to help.
Everything you need to know about delivery, customs and returns when ordering from outside the UK. Check out the most common questions, and if yours isn't here, just ask.

Do you ship to Europe and worldwide?
Yes, we post from our UK warehouse to all EU countries, plus the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway, the UAE, Japan, Singapore and more. If your country isn't offered at checkout, email us and we'll see what we can do.
How much is international delivery?
Flat and simple:
- European Union: £8.99
- USA & rest of the world: £11.99
- United Kingdom: free over £40, otherwise £3.99
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
Possibly, yes, and we'd rather tell you upfront. Orders delivered outside the UK can be charged local VAT, import duty or a courier handling fee on arrival. These charges are set by your country, not by us, and are paid by the customer. They're usually modest for small parcels, but we can't predict the exact amount.
Can I return an order from outside the UK?
Yes, you have 30 days from delivery, as long as the items are unopened and unused (a hygiene rule for skincare). Return postage is at your cost, and we refund you in full within 3 to 5 working days of receiving the parcel. Just email us your order number first.
What if something arrives damaged or wrong?
That's on us, wherever you are in the world. Email a photo and your order number to support@ecodrop.co.uk and we'll send a replacement or a refund straight away, and we cover the postage.
Still unsure about ordering from abroad?
Ask us anything. We're a small UK team and a real person answers every message, usually within 24 hours. Write to support@ecodrop.co.uk or use the contact form. We're happy to help before you order, not just after.
