Holy Basil Essential Oil, extracted from the green leafy plant Ocimum Sanctum native to Southeast Asia, found most commonly on Indian landscape (Indian nomenclature: Tulsi, Tulasi). It has a historical affiliation to Indian medicinal therapy and was used for many conditions ranging from ringworms to eye diseases.

Reduces stress and Anxiety: Holy basil placates many types of stress such as chemical, physical, infectious, and emotional stress, by acting as an adaptogen. Studies revealed a reduction of stress, sexual problems, sleep problems, forgetfulness, and exhaustion in humans as well as animals.
Aromatherapy: It is believed to have cleansing, stimulating, and uplifting effects on the mind and body. When diffused, its purifying and clarifying properties are known to positively impact the mood by reducing stress, eliminating fatigue, and enhancing concentration.
Acne Treatment: Holy basil has antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it an excellent solution to treat acne-prone skin.
Skincare:: Add 4-5 drops of Tulsi essential oil to your favourable carrier oil such as Jojoba oil or coconut oil, and apply to calm the skin.
Inhalation: Inhaling directly from the bottle is not recommended. Rather, add 5-6 drops to hot water and then inhale the vapour. Optionally, add 3 drops of Peppermint essential oil. Lean over to the bowl and inhale deeply. Cover yourself with a towel to decrease the dilution of steam with the surrounding. This will help you relax all your senses and remove congestion.
Massage: Add 2-3 drops to 10 ml of avocado oil and massage your neck, shoulders, and back area for overcoming a feeling of weariness. Massage with this stimulating oil revitalises muscles and removes fatigue.
Diffuser: Add 3-4 drops in your diffuser. This profoundly refreshing and invigorating essential oil clears the mind of worries and fears and promotes a sense of well-being.
