Background

White Camphor Essential oil is produced using crude camphor steam distilled to give resultant extracts namely white camphor, yellow camphor, brown camphor, and blue camphor, out of which white camphor is used for medicinal and aromatic purposes. Brown and yellow camphor have toxic substance safrole in them and should not be used.
Crude camphor is extracted from Cinnamomum camphora (Camphor tree’s wood) found natively in the forests of Taiwan and Japan. Camphor has medicinal properties and was used to treat cold, cough, vomiting, and diarrhea. It is also known to be a very good muscle relaxant, relieving muscle aches and pains, hence used in one of our must-have first aid blends called deep blue muscle relief.
