Ecodrop's organic clary sage essential oil (sometimes written clarysage) is steam-distilled from the flowering tops and leaves of Salvia sclarea and bottled in the UK. Sweetly herbal with a muscat-wine softness and a faint amber undertone, it is the oil people come back to when an evening needs putting down gently.
- 100% pure: single-botanical Salvia sclarea, nothing added, nothing diluted. Our GC identifies 62 constituents.
- Lavender's chemistry, grown up: linalyl acetate 58.9% and linalool 25.2% on our batch GC, the same two molecules that dominate lavender. That is why the two blend so naturally, and why clary sage feels familiar the first time you smell it.
- Sclareol, the molecule named after the plant: present at 0.28%, and the reason perfumers prize clary sage. It is the natural starting point for the ambergris notes in fine fragrance.
- Organic at a sensible price: most UK organic clary sage sits at £20 or more for 10ml. Ours does not.
- UK bottled, GC/MS tested: filled and quality-checked in the United Kingdom.
- From 10ml to 1 litre: a small first bottle, or bulk sizes for blenders and makers.

Clary sage has a soft, warm, herbaceous aroma with a muscat-wine sweetness and a faint amber depth underneath. It is one of the most settling scents in aromatherapy, and it suits the end of a week better than the start of a day.
Diffuse three or four drops while you wind down, blend it into a carrier oil for a slow massage, or add it to a warm bath. It lingers longer than most oils, so a little carries the whole evening.

Yes, we post from our UK warehouse to all EU countries, plus the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway, the UAE, Japan, Singapore and more. If your country isn't offered at checkout, email us and we'll see what we can do.
How much is international delivery?
Flat and simple:
- European Union: £8.99
- USA & rest of the world: £11.99
- United Kingdom: free over £40, otherwise £3.99
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
Possibly, yes, and we'd rather tell you upfront. Orders delivered outside the UK can be charged local VAT, import duty or a courier handling fee on arrival. These charges are set by your country, not by us, and are paid by the customer. They're usually modest for small parcels, but we can't predict the exact amount.
Can I return an order from outside the UK?
Yes, you have 30 days from delivery, as long as the items are unopened and unused (a hygiene rule for oils). Return postage is at your cost, and we refund you in full within 3 to 5 working days of receiving the parcel. Just email us your order number first.
What if something arrives damaged or wrong?
That's on us, wherever you are in the world. Email a photo and your order number to support@ecodrop.co.uk and we'll send a replacement or a refund straight away, and we cover the postage.
