Uses

Skincare: Clary Sage is an all-in-one solution for all kinds of skin problems and is well-suited to all types of skin. It soothes acne, rashes, boils, and provides a clear, glowing complexion. Its cleansing property keeps the pores free from chemical build-up and also tightens skin pores, thus preventing blackheads and clogging.

Haircare: The incredibly nutritious Clary Sage oil supports the health of scalp and hair and repairs environmental damages. It reduces hair fall by addressing almost all kinds of underlying issues, such as stress, chemical build-up on the scalp, dryness, bacterial infections, flakiness, and lack of adequate hydration.

Aromatherapy: The scent of Clary Sage is described as clarifying and sedative. It promotes calmness and improves sleep quality. When used during meditation practices, it is believed to cleanse the throat chakra. Its soothing aroma boosts self-esteem and is known to reduce psycho-emotional stress.

PMS symptoms: Clary Sage oil possesses strong antispasmodic and analgesic abilities that reduce uterine muscle contractions during periods and relieve painful symptoms. It also helps in irregular or heavy menstrual flow.

Hormonal imbalances: Clary Sage oil is also known as women’s oil for its immense hormone-regulating benefits. Directions

Inhalation: Add 5-6 drops to home diffusers or inhale directly from the bottle.

Skin and hair application: Add 2-3 drops to unscented creams, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, etc. Alternatively, add 15-18 drops to a 30 ml jar of shea or mango butter and use as a face moisturizer, night cream, hand cream, and lip balm. For DIY face and hair packs, refer to our e-book.

Massage: Add 6-8 drops to 15 ml of coconut or olive oil.

Bath: Add 2-3 drops to the bathwater.

Congestions: Add 5-6 drops to 10 ml of sesame oil. Rub this oil on the chest, neck, and back. Alternatively, put 4-5 drops in hot water and inhale the vapours.
