Uses

Skincare: Patchouli oil is known to possess excellent emollient properties, which gives a vibrant, youthful look. The most remarkable quality of this moisturiser is its suitability for all skin types. From excessively dry to oily, acne-prone skin, it takes care of all kinds of skin problems.

Haircare: This oil has traditionally been used in Asia for treating hair problems like dandruff and oily scalp.

Aromatherapy: The grounding smell of Patchouli essential oil balances emotions and lifts the mood. Diffuse this aroma during meditation and yoga practices to enhance a sense of connection and for improved focus.

Natural insecticide: This antibacterial and antifungal oil kills house flies and repels mosquitoes, ants, ticks, cockroaches, and many other insect species.

Wound healer: Apply directly to wounds and cuts to prevent infections and promote faster healing.

Fever aide: The cooling effect of Patchouli oil can bring down the body temperature to some extent while helping reduce inflammation and pain.

Directions

Room freshener and insect repellent: Add 5-6 drops to your diffuser. Optionally, blend 3-4 drops with an equal amount of Cedarwood essential oil.

Skincare products: Add 2-3 drops to creams, lotions, shampoo, conditioners. Or make your own beeswax moisturiser referring to our ebook for DIY recipes.

Antiageing beauty balm: Mix 3-4 drops in a tbsp of argan oil. Massage hair, body, and face twice a week for best results.

Sleep-inducing scalp massage: Blend 2 drops of Patchouli essential oil, 2 drops of Lavender oil, and 1 drop of Clary sage oil in a tbsp of sesame oil. Massage the scalp to relieve stress and enjoy a deep, less dreamy, high-quality sleep.
