Background

Once used in the crafting of Flamenco guitars, the wood of the Cypress tree is rich in essential oil and naturally resistant to insects and chemical corrosion. When burned with branches, it releases balsamic fumes believed to purify the respiratory system. These tall, slender trees symbolise upward energy and centred movement. Not surprisingly, Cypress Essential Oil is often included in pre-workout blends to promote movement, focus, and intention, particularly in yoga practices. Extracted from the leaves, Organic Cypress Essential Oil is also known for soothing skin irritation.

General Information

Organic Cypress Essential Oil has a fresh, woody, resinous, and balsamic scent with a subtle smoky undertone. It is one of the most vibrant essential oils, historically used as incense in ancient civilisations, and still in use in Tibetan rituals today. Cypress trees are long-lived and resistant to decay — a reason why ancient Greeks used the wood to craft statues of immortal gods. Organic Cypress Essential Oil 10ml offers numerous benefits for mind, body, and skincare.
