Uses

Skincare: Vetiver oil is a deeply hydrating moisturiser suited to all skin types. It controls sebum production and keeps the pores cleans, thus preventing acne and blackheads. The rejuvenating properties of the oil promote new cell growth and strengthen skin tissues against environmental stressors.

Haircare: Vetiver works wonders on dry and irritable scalp conditions. The compounds present in the oil clear the chemical buildup on the scalp that blocks the inflow of nutrients to hair follicles and causes hair loss over time. Long-term use of Vetiver oil is known to improve hair health by providing adequate hydration, while its stimulating nature promotes hair growth and keeps the scalp free from infection-causing microbes.

Directions

Diffusion: Add 4-5 drops to home diffusers in a well-ventilated room.
Meditation Blend: Mix 3 drops of vetiver with one drop each of Frankincense, Sandalwood, and Patchouli oils.

Beauty products: Add 1-2 drops to creams, lotions, shampoo, and conditioners.

Massage: Add 6-8 drops in 15 ml of carrier oil.

Bath: Add 2-3 drops to your bathwater.

Scar healer: Mix a tsp of coconut oil with 10 ml of rose water. Add 3-4 drops of Vetiver oil to this mixture. Apply on a damp face with the help of a cotton pad.
